0.2 Minimum Viable Digital Stack

The Minimum Viable Stack

  1. Domain registered in your name — .com.au preferred. Registered under your account, not a designer’s.
  2. Professional email[email protected]. Not Gmail, Hotmail, or BigPond.
  3. Live website with at minimum: your services, your location/service area, your phone number (clickable), a contact form, and SSL (https://).
  4. Google Business Profile — Verified, with your correct hours, categories, and at least 5 photos.
  5. Google Search Console — Set up and sitemap submitted.
  6. GA4 analytics — So you know if anyone is finding you.
  7. Privacy Policy — Required by Australian law if you collect any personal data.
  8. Contact form with auto-reply — So enquirers know their message arrived.
  9. Mobile-optimised website — Tested on a phone. Everything clickable. No tiny text.
  10. Business listings — Google, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Yellow Pages. Free. Takes 2 hours.
  11. SSL certificate — The https:// prefix with no browser warning. Non-negotiable.
  12. Auto-renew on your domain — So you don’t lose it by accident.

Estimated time for minimum viable stack: 12–15 hours DIY. 1–2 days with Illumen.
